Biography

Louis Marie Lucien Henri Alphonse (Loek) Hermans (Heerlen, 23 April 1951) is a Dutch former politician for the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and administrator. He served as Minister of Education, Culture and Science in the Kok II cabinet, member of the First and Second Chambers of the States General, Mayor of Zwolle, and Queen's Commissioner in Friesland.
